Who We Are

Granite Springs Ranch is a family-run operation located in the heart of Northern Idaho, where we raise premium, grass-fed beef with integrity and care. Founded in 2021 by Jared and Margaret Gieszelmann, along with their children Brandon and Laurel, the ranch was born out of a desire to restore the land and feed their family with high-quality, responsibly raised meat.

Where It All Began

Our land was once overtaken by invasive grasses and poor soil. Jared set out with a vision: restore the soil, raise healthy animals, and provide food for his family that they could trust.

How We Ranch

At Granite Springs Ranch, it’s about the animals and the land first. We practice regenerative ranching methods to ensure that the soil stays healthy and that our cattle can graze freely, just as nature intended. We raise Dexter and Angus cattle, breeds chosen for their resilience, flavor, and ability to thrive on our land. Our mission is simple: to produce beef that nourishes your family, just like it nourishes ours, while supporting our local community and the values we hold dear.

What We Believe

We believe in food that’s real, clean, and ethical. We’re not in this to be the biggest ranch, but to provide the highest quality, grass-fed beef, raised with care and love. And while it’s premium in quality, we work hard to keep it accessible—because we believe everyone deserves to know where their food comes from and to feel good about what they’re feeding their family.

Why It Matters

Our motto, "Family Raised, Freely Grazed," reflects not just how we raise our cattle, but also how we live and work together as a family. We’re humbled by the journey and proud of the food we offer—and while we take our work seriously, we never forget to have a little fun along the way.
